This plugin allows you to create issue during workflow transition. You can configure in what project issue will be created and what issue type it willInstallation
1. Copy the jar listed above into JIRA’s WEB-INF/lib directory. 2. Restart JIRA. 3. Enjoy!Usage
1. Go to the Post Functions tab in selected workflow transition (in Edit draft mode); 2.Click “Add” to add new post function; 3. Select “Create issue during workflow transition”; 4. Configure what issue type and project new issue will have, check if need to clone attachments and issue links, choose the issue link type for linking the original and clone issues; 5. Publish the workflow and use it! But don’t forget about required fields for creating issues! They must be filled during transition!Version History

This plugin is really great and thank you very much for your contribution and help!
I just have a request – We use WIKI Renderer on most of the fields in JIRA. If I clone an issue during a transition, the rendering done in the original issue goes for a toss. Would it be possible to suggest alternative or a solution for this?

Thanks for your response.
We use JIRA 4.0. We use “WIKI renderer” an option provided by JIRA itself for the fields available. Example – Description field. By renderer, i guess it keeps the entry in a specific format and retrieve in the same format while displaying. If we add bullet points we could see it like in WORD document.
However when we make a create issue with your plugin, this rendering does not work anymore, for example, the bullet points format is not there and it becomes a simple text joining everything.
